We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. Are you an Excel expert with a sharp eye for numbers and a customer-focused mindset? Then we would love to hear from you.

Your role

As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our financial operations, managing the payment processes for clients across Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, and Sint Maarten. You will support daily financial activities and contribute to the effectiveness of our receivables management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accounts receivable lists across multiple territories
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
  • Manage and review payment arrangements
  • Maintain client communication via phone and email to ensure timely collections
  • Perform reconciliations with insurance companies
  • Execute daily bank reconciliations and process incoming payments
  • Support audits, financial projects, and contract renewals
  • Assist with financial tasks and maintain accurate data records
  • Archive and organize financial documents appropriately

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in accounts receivable management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured working style
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with experience in B2B collections
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero and insurance systems like ANVA
  • Fluent in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic work environment
